What the App Does

A "single-file mock application" that fetches a hosted JSON file and remaps it into a polished card-based mockup pitched as a calm place to plan, create, and reflect with GenAI assistance. It shows: app header with Load JSON / Show Raw JSON controls, a source/user card, a Workspace Snapshot (Workspaces 1, Projects 1, Items 1), two project cards (Dream Blog — ACTIVE, with a stored "Last AI Prompt"; Tools for Conviviality — IN-PROGRESS), a User & Library profile (NetID, email, language, timezone, theme, privacy mode, content format), and a static Recommendations block (movie, TV, book, restaurant, video game, board game). Warm beige/cream palette, serif title, rounded cards.

Things That Didn't Work As Expected

Prompt to Improve the App

Keep the calm beige/cream aesthetic, but turn the static mockup into an interactive GenAI workspace:

  1. Make the AI real. Add a prompt composer per project wired to a GenAI endpoint, with streamed output and per-project conversation history.
  2. Fix the counts. Compute Workspaces / Projects / Items from the rendered data, not separate fields.
  3. Make the buttons work. Load JSON opens a URL-or-upload dialog with loading/error states; Show Raw JSON opens a syntax-highlighted, collapsible tree with Copy.
  4. Respect preferences. Apply Language (translate UI to zh-CN), Theme (light/dark), and Content Format (markdown vs plain).
  5. Honor Privacy Mode — mask email and NetID behind click-to-reveal.
  6. Give projects a detail view with items, tag editor, AI history, and a status selector.
  7. Add create/edit/export — + New Workspace/Project/Item, plus Download JSON to round-trip edits.
  8. Make recommendations contextual (e.g., readings related to the active project's tags) or remove the block.
  9. Add a collapsible left sidebar with workspaces, search, and recent projects.
